For best performance, use a charger capable of at least 1.5 A at 5 V. The pump may charge slowly or even discharge slightly if the power source provides less.
✅ Car & Laptop Use:
Cars: Some vehicle USB ports provide full power (check labeling — many rear ports do, front infotainment ones often don’t). When in doubt, use a 12 V barrel/cigarette lighter adapter for reliable charging.
Laptops: Safe to use on USB-C ports. Older rectangular USB-A ports may not provide enough power to charge while the pump is running, but will still charge it when off.
